# Tools and Guidance
The Air Quality **Tools and Guidance** section provides access to the documentation, applications and reference resources supporting European air quality reporting.
European air quality reporting is currently undergoing the transition from **Reportnet 2** to **Reportnet 3**. During this transition period, both reporting systems remain operational and reporting countries may need to use resources supporting either reporting environment.
The available resources are organised according to the reporting infrastructure they support.
## Reportnet 3
### Reporting Guide
The Reporting Guide is the central technical documentation for Reportnet 3. It provides comprehensive guidance on the reporting schema, reporting tables, reference tables, identifiers, examples and reporting principles.
