# The revised Air Quality Directive is now published

The **revised Air Quality Directive**  adopted on October 14, 2024, has now been published in the Official Journal OJ L, 2024/2881, 20.11.2024 November 2024 under the reference [**EU 2024/2881**](https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=OJ:L_202402881) (also in ‘[Legal aspects](../pages/legal-aspects.md)‘). This directive will enter into force on the twentieth day after its publication date (i.e. 10 December 2024).
